Locked in Solidarity Prayer Breakfast, Vigil, and Walk Feb. 11

The third annual Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) national “Locked In Solidarity prayer vigil of lament, hope and stories as we seek the Lord regarding a Christian response to Mass Incarceration”  takes place on Thursday, February 11.   In the Grand Rapids area there are three events to which the public is invited. 1. A Prayer Breakfast from 8-9 a.m. at Elizabeth’s Kitchen, 244 28th St. S.W.  Sponsored by Church of the Servant Prisoners in Christ. Reservations required – call  616.724.6772.  #2.  A Prayer Vigil from 1-2 p.m. at Oakdale Park Christian Reformed Church, 961 Temple St. S.E. Sponsored by the Micah Center Beyond Prisons Advocacy Group.  No reservations required. #3.  A Prayer Walk from 6:00-6:30 p.m. around downtown Grand Rapids. Meet outside the 61st District Court 180 Ottawa NW
