Sunday, February 10 –  Pray for the Prisoners in Christ reentry support group CONTACT (Celebrating Our Network of Trust, Accountability, Collaboration and Training) which meets on 1st and 3rd Sundays from 1-3 p.m. at the Living Water Ministry Home on Franklin Street.  www.livingwaterpmn.org

Monday, February 11 – Remember in prayer the Celebration Fellowship Prison Congregations at Ionia Bellamy Creek and R.A. Handlon Facilities, www.celebrationfellowship.org   and the students and professors in the Calvin Prison Initiative program at Handlon. www.calvin.edu/prison-initiative/

Tuesday, February 12  – Praise the Lord that Rev. Rich and Carol Rienstra represent PinC at area prison ministry gatherings, such as 70X7 Networking Luncheons, www.70x7liferecovery.org/ and statewide and national events, trainings and conferences, including the Correctional Ministry and Chaplains’ Association National Summit, May 17-18 at Wheaton College. www.cmcainternational.org

Wednesday, February 13  – Pray with Arend VanderPols, Andy Vroon, Nancy Knol and Jeanne Logan as they participate every Wednesday evening in the Handlon Correctional Facility book group   which was started by Troy Rienstra in 2012.  Join with Troy as he thanks God today for 2 years and 4 months of living outside prison after 27 years of incarceration and for his work as Outreach Director at Safe & Just Michigan in Lansing.  www.safeandjustmi.org

Thursday, February 14  – Pray on behalf of the families who have loved ones from whom they are separated because of incarceration, especially for the over 200,000 children in Michigan who have a parent in prison. Friday, February 15  – Thank God for our partnership with Healing Communities West Michigan  – http://healingcommunitieswm.com/  in sponsoring educational events for interested congregations and individuals, such as the class about “Institutional Detox to Impactful Dreaming” that takes place this morning at Church of the Servant with the director of ATLaS Justice. www.atlasjustice.center

Saturday, February 16 –  Join in prayer with those traveling to Lansing today for a Citizens for Prison Reform meeting.  www.micpr.org   CPR is a support group by and for prisoners’ families that lifts up the voices of those most directly impacted by the inhumane conditions of incarceration. Another partner, Humanity for Prisoners, provides personalized services for hundreds of Michigan’s incarcerated citizens.  https://www.humanityforprisoners.org/
